Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. Originally in 1995 because I wanted to learn to ski.



Q. What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken recently?

A. Jumping off a 10-foot-plus-high rock on Buff Pass the last week of the season.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. I don’t have one; I have a 2 1/2-year-old.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. Possibly “The Catcher in the Rye.” I’ve read it three times in life and it tells me more about myself each time.

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. I’m married to Sari; my kid is Bella Rose; and I love to ski.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. Doctor.

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?

A. Sari, Bella Rose, Mike Moore and Bud Baker. We’d discuss our day.

Q. In the Meatloaf song, “I’d do anything for love, but I won’t do that,” what is that?

A. Live in a city.

Q. What was your first job?

A. Newspaper delivery.

Q. Who is your favorite superhero? Why?

A. Aquaman; he just seemed a little different (it was probably a water thing).

Q. Do you have any phobias?

A. Snakes (particularly rattlers).

Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?

A. 1960s.
