RE/MAX Partners welcomes James Team

John and Diane James have joined RE/MAX Partners in Steamboat Springs.

A Steamboat resident since 1992, John James is an active member of the community and longtime instructor at Steamboat Ski Area. He has worked in real estate since 2007, using innovative marketing and technology to serve clients.

Diane James was an escrow closer for a local title company before becoming a realtor, giving her in-depth knowledge of transactions and market conditions.

Soule joins Steamboat Real Estate, Inc.

Kiki Soule is Steamboat Real Estate, Inc.’s newest associate broker.

She brings experience with local hospitality sales, high-end property management and real estate office management and marketing experience to the position.

Soule has a master's degree in organizational performance and change from Colorado State University and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.

In her free time, Soule enjoys volunteering at the Steamboat Springs School District, camping, mountain biking, hiking, water activities, snowboarding and all the valley has to offer.

She lives in Steamboat Springs with her husband and two children.

"I am thrilled to be a real estate broker in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Routt County," said Soule, who is enthusiastic about the new position.

Realtor recognized as top producer

Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty recently honored Cheryl Foote as the company’s top producer in 2016.

The award was presented at the 2017 Winter Gala, hosted at the Chief Theater, which attracted more than 100 attendees.

Foote has been working full-time in the real estate industry more than 22 years and has lived in Steamboat for the past 21 years.

“I’m humbled to have once again earned this prestigious award” Foote said. “I’ve worked hard over the years to build the level of trust my clients place in me. This means so much.”

In addition to being named Top Producing Agent, Foote was also the realtor with the most listings taken and most transactions closed. By the end of 2016, Foote tallied 87 transactions and was fourth in overall sales volume out of more than 300 licensed realtors in Steamboat Springs.

Foote also earned the company’s Global Summit Award for the third year.

“I take great pride in calling Steamboat home, and I love working with others who feel the same way,” Foote said.

Colorado Group introduces transaction team

Colorado Group Realty has added a three-person real estate transaction team to its staff to manage administrative tasks related to the home buying and selling process, ensuring a consistent, efficient and high quality real estate transaction, according to a news release.

"This is an initiative that came about from the desire to provide an even higher level of service to our clients and our agents. By taking administrative tasks off our agents’ plates, they'll be able to spend more time helping clients on the more strategic and complex aspects of buying or selling a home,” said Steve Goldman, Colorado Group Realty CEO.

The team is led by longtime Steamboat resident and industry veteran Allison Alfone, CGR's director of operations. Newly hired Joee Rain Pavlica and Rachel Elston round out the team, and both have experience with real estate and the mortgage and title industries. The transaction team is tasked with monitoring progress from the time the seller accepts an offer through the close of escrow.

“Most top-producing real estate agents hire their own transaction coordinator,” said Coleman Cook, broker/owner. “Given that we have 65 agents focused in the Yampa Valley, it makes perfect sense to leverage our size by building a team to increase our service level of every CGR transaction."

Alfone said the new team is excited to join Colorado Group Realty.

“We're confident our transaction team will alleviate the stress of buying and selling property and help our clients move seamlessly through the process,” Alfone said. “Deals will close more smoothly and, oftentimes, more quickly."
